It all started in 2008 with a small kitchen, a hand-written recipe card, and an obsession with the perfect wing. Founder Marcus Delray grew up on the coast of New Brunswick, where family cookouts meant big batches of crispy, sauced-up chicken wings shared around a fire. That memory never left him.
When Marcus opened the first East coast wings location on Russell Street in Saint John, he had one goal: serve the kind of east coast wings that made people close their eyes on the first bite. No shortcuts. No frozen product. Just fresh, bold, and unapologetically delicious food.
Word spread fast. Within two years, lines stretched around the block every Friday night. By 2014, East coast wings had expanded beyond New Brunswick, bringing that same coastal soul to new communities across the United States. Today, we serve thousands of guests every week — and every plate still honors that original recipe card.

2008
Marcus Delray opens the original East coast wings kitchen on Russell Street in Saint John, NB. Armed with a family recipe and a cast-iron fryer, the first 50 orders sell out in under two hours.
2010
Demand for new flavors pushes Priya Nair to create a dedicated sauce development kitchen. The "Coastal Heat" and "Gold Rush Honey" sauces are born — still fan favorites today.
2013
After five years of lines out the door, East coast wings opens its second location in Moncton. The expansion marks the beginning of a regional brand with national aspirations.
2017
East coast wings introduces its franchise model, empowering passionate food entrepreneurs across the United States to carry the brand into new communities with full training and support.
2020
East coast wings launches its digital ordering platform, making it possible for guests to Order Now from anywhere for pickup or delivery — bringing bold wings straight to your door.
2024
East coast wings now operates 12 locations across the United States and Canada, serving over 50,000 guests per month. The mission remains unchanged: bold flavors, genuine hospitality, and the best east coast wings around.
